I’m currently a Nanny to 4 awesome kids who I make sure are not only getting a lot of play time but also are getting help with schoolwork, learning new things and addressing where they are struggling. I volunteer in a pre-k class where I learned a lot of my tricks to keep kids interested. I am starting my freshman year at CSN where I hope to obtain my Teaching degree. Teaching is a passion of mine and I cant describe the feeling of when I am teaching something to a child and you can see it finally clicking in their head and how excited they get. I struggled in school and it was a hard time for me and I want to make sure no kid has to go through how I felt. All it takes is patience, understanding, commitment, love and praise to get a kid where they need to be and I know I have what it takes. I have a lot of my own teaching supplies like flash cards, dry erase boards, but I will ask parents to supply or help me supply certain items ahead of time.
