I am a certified (K-6) teacher with more than four years of
experience. I have worked with a variety of students, from
those that need help catching up to advanced students that
need something extra to push them farther. Also, I have
worked with students coping with learning and developmental
disabilities as well as with emotional-behavioral
disorders.

I am dedicated to helping each individual child to be and
feel successful. My primary goals are to help identify
challenges and build strategies to assist students in
overcoming those difficulties, allowing students to make
sense of and understand, not memorize information.
Additionally, I find that addressing the concerns of the
student, the parents, and any other involved educators is
paramount to a child's long-term success.

I am available in home or at an agreeable public location
(library) to help with homework, test prep, or give
additional instruction on specific subjects/topics. In some
cases I will work with two students on the same
information, as small group work can be very beneficial.
